DAS Bookbinding
There was a moment when I'd seen one too many questionable bookbinding video tutorials on YouTube and briefly considered what would be involved in addressing that deficiency. Fortunately, I found DAS Bookbinding, and it's clear that the niche of good, clear, fundamental instruction on making books is extremely well covered already.
His videos are excellent. If you're interested in starting to make books, you should check them out.

May I Interest You in a Book?
In 2017, I was selected to contribute a book to the San Francisco Center for the Book's annual Small Plates project. It was the first time I'd done an actual edition of a hundred books.
Being located in San Francisco, the Center, which normally hosts about 400 classes per year in bookbinding, printing, calligraphy, and related arts, has been closed since The City issued their Shelter in Place Order on March 17, 2020.
Clarifying, this sale is through the Center. I have most of my own portion of the edition as well, but right now, my day job is secure. I'd much rather you support them or another artist who has lost their income right now.

Letterpress: Cards and Broadsides
Those of you who have been by the table at the the shows in 2014 may have noticed a growing number of letterpress items. This is a line that will be expanding in 2015, and I'm anticipating putting those into a shop before spring.
For those keeping track, there are three broadsides from last year:
- The Litany Against Fear from Dune (edition of 25)
- Rules of Technology by Douglas Adams (edition of 42)
- Art and Money from Iggy Pop's BBC 6 John Peel speech (edition of 25)
Each is a multicolor letterpress print from hand-set metal and mood type. There are an additional 4 copies on a different style paper. At least two are expected in 2015.
I've begun making letterpress cards as well. These are available locally in San Francisco and will also land in the shop.
